Under the direction and vision of Mike Fisher, President  & CEO, Mainstream Transportation Inc. was incorporated 2003, although he has been in the trucking business since 1987.  Mike started his driving career in 1984, clocking 1.8 million miles.  Driving all throughout Canada, including the Ice Roads of Northern Alberta, there is not much that Mike doesn’t know about the freight transportation industry.

In 1998 he stopped driving truck to pursue his other passion which was building a transportation business that focused on the client and the employee.  He started with 6 trucks and grew to a 100 truck fleet in the years to come.  Like any other Alberta based company, the economy took its toll forcing Mike to downsize, but his vision continues to this day to provide affordable, safe, and reliable freight solutions.  Mike can often be heard saying, “Nothing is too big or too small, we haul it all”.

Today, with over 70 years of combined experience, Mainstream Transportation Inc. provides a 15,000 sq. ft. location that is monitored 24/7.
